Tourist attractions in this program
Bang Koong Temple
The temple building dates from the Ayutthaya period and, aside from the golden buddha image it houses, is quite simple in design. The remarkably majestic banyan trees are the crowning glory of the site, dominating the temple and shading much of the landscape, a landscape that served as a battleground for Siamese and Burmese warriors in the 18th century. Today, the temple and nearby area is preserved as a memorial to those heroic warriors of the past. At present many come to visit and photograph
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
Damnoensaduak is the first floating market in Thailand which is the longest and straightest canal dug in Thailand. The market active every day but only in the morning from 8.00 a.m – 14.00 p.m .you can find delicious Thai food, wide variety of tropical fruits and vegetable and many colorful home-made products - A very pleasant scene to see and remember! You should not miss the opportunity to experience by yourself sitting and eating on one of these rowing boats on the canal
Elephant Village with an Activities
You can experience with a variety of activities offered by Chang Puak Camp. Not only elephants but the camps also offer some exciting activities such as elephant talent show, ATV, BB gun and etc. We hope that our customers will enjoy and have a good time with us at Chang Puak Camp and also help Thai elephants to have a better life.
Grand Palace with The Emerald Budha Temple
The Grand Palace in Bangkok is arguably the country’s most visited and photographed landmark attraction. Thousands of visitors flock to this 17th century palace every day to witness the splendor and beauty of its buildings and meticulously manicured gardens. The construction of the Grand Palace began in 1782, during the reign of King Rama I, and it has been the architectural symbol of Thailand ever since. The Grand Palace served as the royal family’s residence until 1925 and is now used only for ceremonial purposes Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The major attraction of the Outer Court is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the residence of Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist sculpture: Phra Keaw Morakot (the Emerald Buddha), which was carved from a single piece of flawless green jade
Jodde Fair Night Market
Jodde Fair Train Market has plenty of different shopping options. As well as toys, souvenirs and accessories, there’s also a number of stalls selling t-shirts, dresses and other en-trend pieces. Whilst there aren’t exactly any high-street names here, there’s a wealth of clothes and accessories from local labels for sale at incredibly cheap prices that are bound to help you stand out from the crowd back home. There’s also a great deal of vintage clothing and antiques here for sale too, where real bargains can be found– a welcome change from the sanitised shopping experience at Central Ratchada Train Market is much more than that. Not only does it have authenticity, delicious food and fashion in abundance, it’s also incredibly cool; the distinct vintage aesthetic is different and great for photos, whilst the bars nearby are well worth a visit. Its vintage shops offer the chance to pick up rare pieces and trinkets that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere, whilst the low prices and potential for bartering could see you leaving with bags full of bargains.
